Bliss MacStachios

So, as me and Dee experiment further,
we gave a try at producing a chocolate core.

Guess what? it came out delicious!
Even though this word, delicious, is used a lot here,
it nonetheless is a word our friends use to describe it.


This recipe follows the basic nut butter mix,
that is used in the Original MacStachio Balls.

It also has the same additives like the chilled MacStachios,
that is, the cocoa nibs and hazelnut shreds laced in the nut mixture.

However, this time, as you will see in the photos bellow,
we took the coconut butter and melted it with stevia sweetened chocolate chips.

The chocolate core is the only thing we had applied any heat in order to create it.
We then had to place it in the freezer for ten minutes to harden,
and once it did, we covered a whole hazelnut with the chocolate butter,
formed it into a small ball, and finally, we rolled it in bee pollen.

Now, doesn't that sound delicious?!

Once the core was made,
it was simple to cover the core with the nut mixture,
and then roll it in homemade coconut flour.

Yum!
