If you love Macadamia nuts,
and if you love Pistachio nuts,
then this is a love ball just for you.
This has a nice pasty and crunchy delight to it.
The hazelnut in the middle is a pleasant surprise,
and the dominating taste of Pistachio invokes fluttering feelings of love.
Do enjoy!
This delightful piece of art requires a freezer,
as the chocolate tends to melt and the butter becomes creamy.
This recipe makes 20 bite size balls of pure love.
Using a food processor;
Making Macadamia nut butter
Process 1 cup Macadamia nuts with a quarter cashew nuts.
Butter will form very fast, and will be creamy and sticky.
Making Pistachio nut Paste
Process 1 cup Pistachio nuts with a quarter cashew nuts.
This will take awhile to process, and eventually turns pasty.
I added to the mix some trimmings of vanilla stick using scissors.
Mixture Blend
On a piece of baking parchment,
I covered the parchment with coconut flour,
and on top of that I placed the creamy Macadamia butter and pasty Pistachio.
As I mesh the two together, the coconut flour helps make it less sticky.
I add to this mesh of nuts half a cup of cocoa nibs,
and kneaded them together until the whole batter is evenly filled with nibs.
Forming the Balls
When I formed the balls,
I insert in the middle one dry roasted hazelnut.
I clump it into a small ball
and then I roll it in chocolate melted in a sauce pan.
This ratio of butters and the formation of small bit size balls,
gave us 20 balls to enjoy.

ReplyDeleteHi T. I'm glad you like this. It had been a spontaneous creation. I still intend on recreating it and improving the recipe, as I feel more hazelnut is needed. <3 Joel
DeleteSounds good with or without more hazelnut.
DeleteHey, Joel, we might have an event on Saturday evening, Feb 22nd, in case you'd like to hold the date. Dancing and eating and socializing.
T.
Thank you for the invite.
DeleteFeb 22nd is a popular day. I'm actually hosting a potluck at my girlfriend's place in the city, with a jam session later. Probably going to feature this dessert then. <3 Joel
