RAW Chocolate Pudding

Working for Whole Foods Market has its spontaneous advantages. Scrolling through the many recipes the Health Starts Here program offers, Dee had found a recipe and made it one movie night. To our delight, we fell in love with it on our first bite and periodically Dee makes it.

Though the recipe at Whole Foods Market turns out a bit too thick, we ended up attempting all sorts of adjustments to balance the sweetness and reduce the thickness. We were successful...!

Yolkado© - RAW Avocado & Egg Yolk Dip/Spread

Yolkado ©

A dip is a fun thing to have every so often, for the pleasure of using our hands so we may be able to connect with our food on personal level. This dip can also be used as a spread. The fun part, it is rich and filling, as well as vibrant in its quality.

We can literally make this withing 5 minutes and gobble it down in less. Easy to make at work, enjoyable at potlucks as dips for finger carrots or bread.

Yolkado© is an original recipe combining Egg yolks and an Avocado. Delicious!

Ezekiel Sprouted Pizza

After learning about Ezekiel sprouted bread from Joel’s friend Asi, on our team appreciation week 40% off we took the opportunity and bought ourselves Ezekiel sprouted tortillas. Such Bliss!

The recipe is not made from scratch, since we use the ready made sprouted tortillas, and the method is derived from an web source.

We just loved this and had to express our love for Italian cuisine.

RAW Tahini Dip

Joel had the privilege of learning in Israel how Tahini is made traditionally and deliciously.

The crave for hummus was on, but chickpeas are too hard on our digestion, so instead we decided to indulge on Tahini.

How wonderful it is to dip sprouted grain bread and finger carrots into this hummus-texture-like Tahini. We are hooked!

We made this out of scratch, using raw sesame seeds that had to be ground up, so it turns out to  be fresh and nourishing!

Our way to prepare and cook Steak

Desserts are a wonderful thing to have,
but what about a nourishing meal?

In this world where we eat food that has a face,
and we thank the spirit of the animal for its contribution to our body,
we tend to neglect the effect of cooking food on our digestion.

Food that we cook looses valuable life energy (electron charge in antioxidants),
and the high temperatures of cooking can cause many of the proteins to turn into
heterocyclic amines, which are carcinogens in meat and very detrimental to our gut.

Bliss MacStachios

So, as me and Dee experiment further,
we gave a try at producing a chocolate core.

Guess what? it came out delicious!
Even though this word, delicious, is used a lot here,
it nonetheless is a word our friends use to describe it.
